API & developers

The API gives your own software everything you see on Ilma. It is part of the Pro plan; Pro is not open yet, so the API is in preview.

Weather models APIModels, their next runs, and which models cover a point.Publication historyWhen runs were actually published, punctuality statistics, CSV export.Radio APINAVTEX, VHF, public radio and radiofax stations and their broadcast times.Calendar feedsiCalendar (.ics) feeds for phone and desktop calendars.

Authentication

The API is part of the Pro plan. Create a key under Account, API key, and send it with every request in the Authorization header (or X-API-Key). The full key is shown once, so store it safely. Missing or wrong keys get 401, accounts without Pro get 403, and requests above the rate limit get 429 with a Retry-After header. Keep keys on your server, not in browser code.
