What personal data Ilma handles, and why.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
The controller is Sailibre (Untitled Ltd.). Contact for privacy questions: hello@ilma.watch.
2. What we collect today
Without an account, the website keeps your choices (timezone, clock format, list or card view) only in your own browser.
If you create an account we store your email address, your name, the models you follow, your alert settings, the destinations you add for alerts (email address, phone number, Telegram name) and any feedback you send. When you create an account we also record the time you agreed to our Terms of use, Privacy policy and Safety disclaimer, and the version you agreed to. We do not store a password: you sign in with a link sent to your email, and other sign-in methods, such as Google, may be added. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. If you buy Ilma Pro we also store your plan, the status and renewal date of your subscription, and the identifiers our payment provider gives us for you and your subscription. We never receive or store your card details. You can delete your account in your account settings, which cancels any subscription and removes this data.
3. Location
If you press “My location”, your browser shares your position with the page so it can show nearby models and radio stations. The position is used in your browser to show the results. We may also store it in our databases, for statistics and product improvements.
4. Usage statistics and product improvement
We may track measurable usage, for example which pages and features are used, how often, on what kind of device and where things go wrong, so that we can improve Ilma. Where needed, this data is anonymised.
Optional analytics and monitoring only run if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
5. Analytics and monitoring tools
We use the following tools. If we change or add a tool, we will update this page.
- Product and web analytics (PostHog): records page views, how features are used, traffic sources and approximate location derived from your IP address, to improve the product. Only with your consent.
- Error monitoring (Sentry): records technical errors with details such as the page, browser and device, so we can fix problems. Errors in your browser are reported only with your consent. Errors on our servers are reported without personal data such as cookies, request contents or IP addresses.
6. Why we use data (legal bases)
We handle your data to run your account, take payments and send the alerts you ask for (performance of a contract), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to run optional analytics and monitoring or send optional messages only if you agree (consent). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
7. Who receives data
Our server host (Hetzner, in the EU) stores the data. Resend delivers our emails, such as sign-in links. If you buy Ilma Pro, Creem, our merchant of record, processes the payment and receives your email address and account id together with the payment details you give it; see Creem’s privacy notice at creem.io/privacy. The analytics and monitoring providers described above receive the data those tools collect, and only if you accepted them. Some of these providers are based outside the EU; where that is the case, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. If alerts by other channels are added, the providers involved will be named here.
8. How long we keep data
We keep your account data until you delete your account, which removes it. Payment and invoice records are kept by our payment provider for as long as the law requires. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, to object to some processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to hello@ilma.watch.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when our data practices change and show the date at the top.
