Terms of use

The rules for using Ilma.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

1. Who we are

Ilma is operated by Sailibre (Untitled Ltd.) (“we”, “us”). Contact details are on the Contact page.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using Ilma you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update the terms; the date above shows the latest version.

3. What the service does

Ilma shows when weather forecast models and marine weather broadcasts are expected to be published, with a map, alerts and a programming interface (API), among other things. This is not a complete or fixed list: features may be added, changed or removed over time. The times shown are expected times and can differ from what actually happens.

4. Accounts

Some features need an account. You sign in with a method we offer, for example a link sent to your email, and you are responsible for keeping that access secure and for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, for example by overloading it, trying to break into it, or using it to harm others. Scraping, crawling or otherwise collecting data from the website by automated means is not allowed. Programmatic access is permitted only through the API with your own API key and within the rate limits we set. API keys are personal: do not share them.

6. Ilma Pro (paid plan)

Ilma Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly as you choose. The current price, VAT included, is shown on the Pricing page and at checkout before you pay. It renews automatically for the same period until you cancel.

Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem sells Ilma Pro to you, collects the payment and VAT and issues the invoice. Creem's Buyer Terms apply to the purchase, including the right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and its rules on refunds and chargebacks.

You can cancel at any time in your account under Plan. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails and is not recovered, Pro ends. If you delete your account, your subscription is cancelled first.

What Pro includes can change over time. We will tell you in advance before a price change applies to you.

7. Refunds and chargebacks

Payments for Ilma Pro are final. We do not refund the period you have already paid for, unused time, partly used periods, or renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date.

This does not limit rights that mandatory consumer law gives you, for example a statutory right of withdrawal or a remedy for a faulty service. Where such a right applies, it is handled by Creem under its Buyer Terms, and any refund follows from that. To ask for a refund, contact us at hello@ilma.watch or Creem through the receipt you received.

Please do not start a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us or Creem; Creem's Buyer Terms require this. If a payment is disputed or charged back, we may suspend your Pro access and your account while it is resolved, we may contest a chargeback that is not justified, and we may close the account if it was not.

8. Third-party data and trademarks

Forecast data and station information belong to the respective providers and are shown under their licences. See Data sources & credits. Product and provider names are the property of their owners.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that results from using the service or relying on it, including missed, late or wrong publication times. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. See also the Safety disclaimer.

10. Changes and termination

We may change or stop parts of the service, and may suspend accounts that break these terms.
